Privacy policy

Wilson auto wholesale does not distribute private customer information to any third parties for any reason. All customer information is maintained in a secure manner. Our office is protected by ADT security and the exterior of our facility is monitored 24 hours a day by closed circuit television. Our electronic devices and computers are password protected with firewalls in place. Paper privacy records are stored on file in a secured office filing system. Electronic customer information is collected and stored in password protected files behind appropriate firewalls. No credit card or other sensitive information is collected in digital format form or transmitted over networks that are accessible by persons other than those who need to know and have been instructed in the protection of such information. Sensitive customer information on paper is shredded when it is no longer necessary to maintain that information. Our safeguards coordinator routinely monitors computer files and documents. All unnecessary files and documents are securely shredded and files are routinely deleted.

State inspection

The state of North Carolina requires that all vehicles and motorcycles pass NC state inspection prior to retail sale.

Service records

In most cases service records are available on the vehicles for sale. This includes any reconditioning and service we perform on the vehicle prior to sale and any records that may be available from the previous owners. Any records obtained from previous owners will not contain any personal customer information.

Mechanical inspection

We can transport any vehicle or motorcycle to an authorized dealer or certified mechanic for inspection prior to sale at the expense of the buyer.

Transaction Types

Dealer to Dealer

Wholesale to the trade for the purpose of resale.

Wholesale to Retail

We are licensed auto wholesalers in the state of North Carolina. Our license is a privilege that allows us to sell to the trade only. We have a working relationship with licensed independent and franchised retail dealers in and out of state that can facilitate a transaction to the retail buyer. We place most of our inventory on consignment with local retail dealers. Any unit that is not on display at the retailer’s location can be shown by appointment.

Demonstration permit

Form LT-425 is filled out by the dealer prior to any road testing of the motor vehicle. We do not allow test drives on motorcycles or exotics.

Buyers guide

This document is provided by the retail dealer outlining the warranty provided for each vehicle. In some cases a manufactures warranty is still in place.

Transportation fee

We can transport within a 50 mile radius at no charge. Shipping beyond 50 miles is the responsibility of the buyer. We will be happy to assist in transportation arrangements.

Transaction fees

We do not charge any transaction fees on dealer to dealer sales.

Wholesale to Retail

10% sales commission fee with a 1,000 minimum and 2,000 maximim.

Transportation fee

Documentary fee

199.00 fee paid to the retail dealer for processing paperwork associated with a retail transaction.

Vehicle Location Service

We have access to all wholesale auctions nationwide and a good relationship with other wholesalers that we have worked with over the years. Please let us know if there is a specific vehicle or motorcycle you may be looking for.

Auction Vechice Inspection

We can provide hands on vehicle inspection services to any dealer at any of the auctions we attend. Our service will include a full visual and structural inspection with photos and verification of keys and books.

Retail Services

We have a working relationship with licensed independent and franchised retail dealers in and out of state that can facilitate a transaction for us to a retail buyer.
